Effect: Increases the armor of Terran air units by +1 per level.

The Medvac Dropship replaces both the Marine Medic and Dropship from Starcraft and Starcraft: Brood Wars. It can be created without any addons to the Starport and can be used to carry 8 “slots” of units. The list includes;

• SCV - 1 slot, max 8 SCVs
• Marine - 1 slot, max 8 Marines
• Marauder - 2 slots, max 4 Marauders
• Ghost - 2 slots, max 4 Ghosts
• Hellion - 2 slots, max 4 Hellions
• Reaper - 1 slots, max 8 Reapers
• Siege Tank - 4 slots, max 2 Siege Tanks
• Thor - 8 slots, max 1 Thor
• Viking - 2 slots, max 4 Vikings ( in ground assault mode)

The Medivac can heal any biological units near it which include partnered Zerg and Protoss units. It cannot heal units inside of it, and has no offensive capability other than delivering or picking up units. It is very effective at keeping your units out of range of early units like Roaches, Zerglings and Zealots. It is also very handy for delivering units behind enemy lines to attack production and supply quickly and effectively before an opponent can respond.

The Medivac is a key component of the MMM strategy for delivering the units and keeping them alive.
