So if any movie is like a game it is this. The sad truth is that I haven’t seen it yet and that sucks. Maybe at my weekend I will go see if any of our lovely theaters play it. Hope I don’t have to go 50km for seeing this movie but I think it is kind of must as a gamer.

Read the comics before the movie came out, and I gotta say that I think the movie is a lot better. But at the same time, the movie takes a good 80% of what DIDN’T need to be in books.

I’ve got the comics on the iPad. Need to read them before I see the movie.

But for some reason, I can’t talk the woman into going to see it. which makes no sense, because she loves video games/anime/etc.

I loved both the comics and the movie. Though I’m really surprised that the lady won’t go Vince, it is damn near the perfect date movie for nerds, tons of video game references, good dialog and just enough cutesy-ness.

Still haven’t seen it and if IMDB is correct won’t be able to till January 2011… -.- Stupid frakkers. If they don’t want people to pirate movies maybe they shouldn’t bring them to some region (especially pissed of because I wanna see the english version anyway so I don’t care about localization) like half a year after the rest of the world….
No, I won’t pirate it (not stupid, not gonna risk it) but damn I was tempted when I read that release date.

I haven’t read the comics yet, and I full intend to, but I’ll say this:  It may well be my favorite movie.  I feel like if I would have read the comics first I would have nitpicked what was different while watching the film.  Usually when I see the movie then read the book, I’m able to enjoy both.

Any fan of gaming needs to see this movie, hands down no questions.
